From the nineteen seventies the Paeroa factory was upgraded, expanding the floor Area to 1,one hundred fifteen sq. metres (12,000 sq ft). All around this time, a new spring water pipe was put in between the Paeroa manufacturing unit along with the Railway Reserve, which pumped filtered Paeroa spring water, allowing for the general public to drink
